Marching Band
In Marching Band, you'll make lifelong friendships and the best high school memories...
Every Fall, the Black Hawk Marching Band performs at all Home football games, various concerts, events and festivals. This co-curricular ensemble rehearses during the school day and on Wednesday evenings, with performances on select Fridays and Saturdays in August, September and October.
Our Marching Band has about 150 students — representing every grade level and a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Many of our members take very challenging classes, play sports, participate in Scouts, have jobs, and maintain impressive grade point averages.
Our season is very busy, which means that along with teamwork and ensemble skills, Marching Band students learn time management and how to prioritize. There are many opportunities for students to become leaders, and you'll be amazed at how much they grow and change in just a few years.

Marching Band provides its members with lifelong friendships and memories. The best way to have an incredible experience in high school is by joining the Marching Band.
